Manufacturer Specific Interoperation Information

This information is provided solely to assist Lithonia Controls product users in evaluating integration opportunities with other manufacturer's building automation systems using BACnetTM.  Companies or products mentioned here are not necessarily endorsed by Lithonia Lighting. The content of this page will be updated and expanded as additional information becomes available.

Alerton Technologies
www.alerton.com

The Alerton BACtalkTM system is a good match-up for Synergy because it is both native BACnet and directly supports ARCNET RS485 which is the standard network physical layer for Synergy.  The Synergy ARCNET com line can be connected directly to the BACtalk LSi network controller which acts as a router.  Several Lithonia/Alerton projects are currently under construction.  More information will be provided after these are up and running.

American Auto-Matrix
www.aamatrix.com

American Auto-Matrix is preparing to introduce an IP based BACnet workstation package for building automation applications.  Lithonia is currently in testing with Auto-Matrix to insure complete compatibility between the products at introduction.  It is anticipated that interconnection will occur at the Ethernet level.

Automated Logic
www.automatedlogic.com

Synergy is a good fit with Automated Logic because of their commitment to BACnet and support of ARCNET in much of their product line including the InterOpTM products.  Lithonia has successfully tested with Automated Logic and is currently installing several interoperable projects with them.  We will provide more information on these after they are up and running.

Delta Controls
www.deltacontrols.com

Delta offers a full line of native BACnet building automation products.  Currently, Delta does not offer an ARCNET network solution so interconnection would be made at the Ethernet level via a router.  We have done testing with with Delta but have not yet installed any interoperable systems with them.

Johnson Controls
www.jci.com

This major supplier of building automation products and services offers Metasys BACnet System Integrator (see the press release: Release81).  This is a software solution for integrating their MetasysR system with other BACnet devices such as Synergy via Ethernet.  Interoperability testing with Johnson has been successfully conducted using the  BACnet System Integrator and Synergy is listed with JCI as compatible.  One installation is currently up and running in the Minneapolis area.

Trane
www.trane.com

Trane offers their Tracer SummitR building automation system with integral BACnet compliance at the Ethernet LAN level.  Lithonia/Trane testing has not been completed at this time.  However, the Tracer Summit BACnet PICS for the BCU and PC Workstation, as printed in their publication BAS-PR001-EN (Tracer Summit - BAS-PRC001-EN), indicates complete BACnet compatibility with Synergy.
