Switching

Lighting in a commercial office building often accounts for at least 40% of the total electricity used. Simply switching off lighting when it is not required results in substantial energy savings. Regardless of the amount of automation used for lighting control in a given application, the ability to manually override lighting is often an important element in the overall design. Synergy controls offer a variety of choices for manual override of lighting in systems including simple low voltage wall switches, networked button stations, touch-tone telephone interface, and personal PC workstation access.
